*****UPDATE*****At last got a dry day to use this kit!I have attached before and after pictures.The whole process took just under two hours. I know some of my lines aren’t straight but this is just a stopgap until I have time to pull the headliner and glue new fabric onto it.The fabric buttons are a very tight fit and I found it helped to put a cut into the plastic ring using wire cutters. The buttons still grip firmly but they’re much easier to push onto the press studs.**********Original Review:This car headliner repair kit arrived in a sturdy cardboard box.The contents are given in the product description so I won’t list them here but the kit contains everything you need to do the job.I have an old Volvo estate that I use as a workhorse and the headliner has recently started to sag. I haven’t got time to remove it, sand it and glue new fabric on so I was looking for an easier solution and this kit is it.The supplied pins push easily into the headliner backboard and hold the fabric in place so it’s easy to position where you’re going to screw in the bases and adjust if necessary.Once the bases are screwed into place the fabric covers just clip on to them.The fabric covers are actually a better match to the existing headliner fabric than the attached picture would suggest. They would have been an even better match if the headliner fabric wasn’t dirty with age!I haven’t actually done the job yet as I’m waiting for some better weather (it’s January) but when I get it done I’ll update this review and post some before and after pictures.This kit includes everything you need to repair a sagging headliner and is much quicker and simpler than pulling the whole thing out to do properly and at only £7.99 it’s also much cheaper so it gets 5 stars.

Dank der mitgelieferten Anleitung konnte ich ohne großes Vorwissen direkt loslegen und hatte den Dreh schnell raus. Die Reparaturnieten wirken sehr stabil und lassen sich kinderleicht anbringen, sodass selbst Laien keine Probleme haben sollten.Besonders praktisch finde ich das beiliegende Stecknadelset und den Schraubendreher, denn alles, was man zum Reparieren braucht, ist sofort griffbereit. Auch das Maßband ist ein willkommenes Extra, um die genaue Position der Nieten festzulegen und ein optisch ansprechendes Ergebnis zu erzielen.Mein Dachhimmel hing vorher an mehreren Stellen durch, doch dank dieses Sets sitzt jetzt wieder alles perfekt. Die Montage ist wirklich unkompliziert, und der gesamte Vorgang hat nur wenig Zeit in Anspruch genommen. Außerdem spart man sich eine teure Reparatur in der Werkstatt, was das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis unschlagbar macht.Das robuste Material der Nieten und Knöpfe hinterlässt bei mir den Eindruck, dass es lange halten wird. Sogar bei einer holprigen Fahrt sitzt der Dachhimmel bombenfest, was meine anfänglichen Bedenken restlos aus dem Weg räumt. Dieses Set ist außerdem universell einsetzbar, sodass es problemlos in verschiedenen Fahrzeugtypen verwendet werden kann.Die Optik der Reparaturknöpfe passt sehr gut und wirkt keineswegs störend oder billig. Insgesamt bin ich rundum zufrieden und kann jedem, der ein praktisches und zuverlässiges Dachhimmel-Reparatur-Set sucht, dieses Produkt wärmstens empfehlen.

If you feel confident in repairing or decorating the inside of a car roof, then this is the set for you, as it contains pretty much everything you will need - ranging from the screws through to the car roof buckle. Handily, it comes complete with a small screwdriver and a tape measure to guide you in your work. You simply use the push pins to make a small indentation in the roof, after measuring, and then fix the screws to the designated place. Lastly, you affix the round buckle. Dead simple, albeit a tad time consuming if you use the whole pack. Lovely.

Ich habe den Dachhimmel vom Auto wie beschrieben befestigt, bis jetzt hält es, hoffentlich bleibt es so. Die Farbe ist etwas dunkler
