I purchased my safe in 2022 and suddenly could not get into it except with the key. The lights were flashing and an audible beeping began. We ended up checking batteries, pushing reset, and trying again the next day. In short, it no longer works. Went on website to review the warrantee and it is for five years. BUT, you must pay for shipping in both directions, which, because of it's weight, would be more than buying a new safe. Just be aware that if and when it malfunctions the warrantee is not very helpful. It could be for 100 years and you would still come out the loser. Very disappointed and looking at other brands to replace with better warrantees.

If you really want a secure safe, you should plan to hide this one. It isn't terribly heavy/impregnable. However, it is just the right size for official papers if not for your gol bars. The combination works easily. We are using it for the paperwork that accompanies the death of the head of household who had three different banks with accounts. It's great for this: we know where everything is. It sits neatly on top of a filing cabinet.

So happy I chose this safe! It was super easy to program and works great! Heavy and nicely built. The door seems a little thin but most safe doors look that way. The locking mechanism is strong and thick though and opens without any problems. The inside comes with a removable shelf and it's bigger than I expected. Fits nicely on my shelf but has plenty of space inside for storing items.I can fit 2 accordian style plastic storage folders in with no problem and still have a ton more room for other things. The folders have all my tax documents in it and are the size of a sheet of paper but a lot thicker bc each folder is filled with numerous documents. I had to fold it a little to get it past the door but barely and once it was inside, it lays on the shelf at it's full size with no problems. This safe is super roomy and durable and I feel like it will last a very long time. I feel so much more comfortable about leaving my valuables home when I'm not now that they are all safely tucked away in the safe.
