Funktioniert leider sehr schlecht. Farben nur monochrom, nicht wie auf dem Bild, dazu muss es schon gehörig erwärmt werden um überhaupt einen Effekt zu sehen.

Unless you want your children / students to use an inappropriate hand action to get the pencils to change colour (its the only way they work - the need for friction!) THEN DO NOT buy!!!!!They look nothing like the image!

I am so very disappointed. I ordered these as end of year gifts for my primary class. They love anything quirky, so I was drawn to the colour changing gimmick. The photo I have taken is the max I can get a pencil to change. The green is so close to the black you can hardly see any difference at all. The yellow didn’t do anything. The pink had a slight change. And I couldn’t get much from the blue. Note I have really hot hands - it’s very hot at the moment, and I have held and rubbed them trying to make them change. I’ve even put them under hot water which had no effect. The after photo on the Amazon add is just nothing at all like I am experiencing. My kids break up in 2 days and now I’m left finding a last min gift. I’m just really sad because I feel these have been falsely advertised.

The whole colour changing thing is a bit of a gimmick really, the outside of the pencil just changes colour from black to whatever colour the easer is on the end from the warmth of your hand, but it fades very quickly. It's a cute novelty but I wouldn't get the pencils because of that.However, they are actually pretty decent pencils and you get a lot of them! They're standard HB, they sharpen very nicely and the draw very nicely too. The rubber on the end is okay, nothing exceptional but it works. I think the pencils look very smart when bunched together.At £12.99 for 60 pencils, I think it's actually a pretty decent price. You're getting nothing more than an HB pencil here but that is the best all round one and I'm actually pretty chuffed with them, I can't find anything negative to say about the pencils.
