I regolatori sono ottimi, ma consiglio di applicare un piccolo dissipatore al circuito integrato. Non serve una grande superficie, solo un po' di dissipazione in più visto il calore estivo dell'aria.Il venditore è molto cortese e disponibile.ATTENZIONE: su quelli che ho ricevuto la serigrafia nel lato posteriore del circuito stampato era invertita.Controllare è facile, il negativo è quello in corrispondenza dei teatrini neri sui condensatori elettolitici, è in continuità fra ingresso ed uscita ed è collegato al pin 1 dell'integrato.WARNING: The silkscreen on the bottom side of the PCB may be printed in reverse.

Ich habe zwei Module ausgepackt und getestet, bei beiden ließ sich die Spannung gut einstellen, und bei ca. 2,5A Last wurden sie nur lauwarm. Soweit so gut.Allerdings muss man vorsichtig sein und sich an den Beschriftungen auf der Oberseite der Platine orientieren. Der Silkscreen auf der Unterseite ist um 180° verdreht und alle Anschlussbeschriftungen sind daher vertauscht!Und nun der große Punkteabzug: die Module sehen etwas anders aus als auf dem Produktbild, der verlötete Chip trägt nicht die Bezeichnung XLSEMI. Und es ist auch definitiv eine Fälschung.Ich habe explizit ein XL4005 Modul gekauft, da ich den Enable Pin verwenden möchte. Doch dieser funktioniert hier nicht wie laut Datenblatt bzw. bei einem echten XL4005. Statt abzuschalten bei Pin 4 auf Masse, schaltet er ab bei Pin 4 auf Vin. Und das zeitverzögert und zieht dabei noch >20 mA. Für mich so leider nicht brauchbar.

Das Modul wird bereits bei niedriger Belastung (1A) sehr heiß (>80°C) und instabil. Der Grund hierfür ist vermutlich eine unterdimensionierte Diode. Diese ist zwar mit SS54 (5A Schottky) beschriftet, von den Abmaßen her jedoch max. eine SS34 (3A Schottky) oder schwächer.
