I definitely liked the fact that the shell matrix is fixed in the box as it looks to be 3d printed so is part of the box itself and not a flimsy insert that rattles around. The plastic takes quite a hard beating before the contents start to break the matrix inside and you can stand on the box as well, so it's sturdy. On a drop test with a full compliment of shells inside, the box took a few heavy drops without much more than a good scratch afterwards, so all in all, for the price its a good alternative to a more air tight and metallic variant.... the dimensions are external measurement and as the box is 2mm thick all round, you need to ensure the box will be big enough for some of the higher velocity round, but otherwise apart from not being airtight.... it definitely delivers...i chose 5 stars as it does not say its waterproof and that's not a biggie of you wrap the box in a plastic zip lock bag

Awesome ammo container! You could use it for any rounds but I use it for reloading! Hold 50 rounds! Just great for what it is! If you need a ammo case get this one!

What's not to like? Your basic ammo box, for rifle ammo. Except there's a feature I almost overlooked that I really like. I don't know if it is clear from the pictures, but the hinge on this box is very nice. It's not just the lid joined to the body with a flexible piece that will eventually fail. It is an actual hinge - a good hinge at that. It's kind of complicated for a hinge, but it seems like it is not going to fail after heavy use.I have a bunch of ammo boxes, I rarely give them much thought, but I like this one simply because of the hinge. It's a small thing, but it is a thing....
