Nice battery holders and work really well in equipment that has battery holders with flat toughs rather than springs for the negative contacts. Pleased with the purchase.

These are good little battery converters which allow me to use easily avaiable AA rechargables in torches which need D batteries!easy to get get the batteries in and out.Size is correct and terminals fit

As D cells seem to be a bit expensive, these came in very handy. I replaced the original cells with AA rechargeables and my old battery oscilloscope has now got rechargeable batteries. Splendid.

I wanted to get some NiMh rechargable D cells for an old radio and a torch. But they're quite expensive, so I bought a bunch of these AA to D convertors. They work really well and hold the cells securely. They take 3 AA cells each, though for low drain applications you could use just 1 or 2 in each convertor. Now I only need to keep 1 size of battery (AA) around the house which is more flexible. The convertors come in packs of 5 which is a strange number, but I needed 9 in total, so I bought 5 here, and a pack of 4 from another supplier. They were identical.

Ho una pila che funziona con 2 batterie lr20 con questo prodotto posso utilizzare le mie decine di batterie stilo ricaricabili. Un bel risparmio

Diventavo matto per trovare queste tipo di batteria e con questa soluzione ho risolto anche perché poi le usi per certi Eletrodomestici che magari li usi 2 volte al anno

Couldn't be simpler but one caution - with NiZn cells, which tend to be a bit larger than standard AA, the top contact may be pushed back and the cell held in the device just because if its size so that it is not pushed up by the bottom spring onto the top connecter.
