This light is surprisingly bright for 40w light. With the battery, this is about the same size as Colbor W series lights but bit thicker. The kit comes with the light unit, battery, USB cable, and diffuser.Light looks like a camera which many people find interesting. Detachable battery is good for little under 40 min in my tests at 4300k at full brightness. You can power this off of a power bank that supports 45w output or higher. The focusing spot barrel is pure genius as you can use this as a quasi spot light. And this compact light is bright. When running on battery, this 40w rated light is brighter than my Neewer 65w cob light, which is super impressive.One thing that annoys me about this light is that you have to press the power (setting) button then turn the dial to turn it on. Why it can’t turn on after pressing the power button is beyond me. Another issue is lack of app support. Searching Google Play store for “Jinbei” app yielded nothing and scanning the QR code takes you to a page that never loads. While they advertise OTA updates, I don’t expect one until they sort out the app issue.Even with the downsides, this compact light provides high quality light output at such a small and portable package. If you power it off using a power bank, you have even smaller package you can mount just about anywhere. Overall, excellent light that’ll be better once app support is available. Even without it, light is easy one to pack for remote sessions. Recommended.

What an interesting light. It reminds me of a hybrid of a Zhiyun Molus X100 light and a Hobolite kit but with a weaker light and a full plastic build. I initially thought the light was broken because it was connected to a 140w pd charger and wouldn't turn on. Plugged it into a 100w smallrig pd charger and it worked fine.The build of the light is completely plastic. Even the battery housing is a slightly cheaper feeling plastic. This thing probably will not take a lot of falls so be careful with it. I wish they provided a grip on the battery and possibly a place to put a wrist strap to help prevent dropping it.The aesthetics of the unit mimics an old school Rangefinder, which is fun. It even has a slightly zoomable focus lens on the front of the light where you can very slightly focus your beam of light. It' doesn't do much, but it actually does something. They also provide a small diffusion dome also that connects via magnets to the front of that lens. It looks like it uses it's own priority connector which has 4 prongs. My mini Zhiyun, Smallrig, and Ulanzi reflectors/etc did not fit on this light.The light output is pretty good. Changing intensity and color temp is super easy, though the controls are on top so if you have this mounted on a light stand it can get annoying to look at your settings. They do have a wireless Bluetooth app, but I skipped out on installing it as there's already 6 different lighting company apps on the phone already. The controls to adjust the intesity, white balance, and also access fx and other features is pretty simple. There's 4 buttons (but seemingly only 3 are used) and a wheel. Those are all the options you can change your settings with.The battery is charged via USB-C and I got roughly 40 minutes with it running at 100% at 5000k. It doesn't look like it charges your battery concurrently with powering your light if you plug into the pd port on the light. On the PD port I was able to push a full 45w to the port to run the light at 100%.I used it recently for the Mehndi night of an Indian wedding and it was great. Was able to light the Henna stations, food, boba tea, and Garba dancing with this as a supplemental light. It worked the whole time powered by a np-f battery doing 36w on it so running up to 80% power. If you have pd power in, it will pull of pd before it pulls off it's own battery.It's an interesting light, and it's fun. They do give you a nice velvet bag with it, but I wish they gave you an articulating mount for a light stand. As is there's a tripod mount socket on the bottom so you can put it on light stand directly. What's really neat is the light is actually really tiny without the battery and is very much usable just plugged into pd power. That extra battery is just icing on the cake. If the build wasn't fully plastic and a weak uninspiring plastic at that, this could be a 5 star product. I think all that Jinbei has to do in a version II is do those small little quality of life updates like a wrist strap, rubberized grips, and a sturdier plastic body and they could have a winner here.
