(A). The items arrived over a day late despite my paying for expedited ("Rush") delivery.(B). I had to jump through 37 hoops backwards to actually speak with anyone - as this type of issue is explicitly excluded in the CHAT system.(C). Factual seller feedback gets deleted by Amazon.(D). 4 Amazon agents lied to me claiming a 3rd party issue - NOT TRUE.(E). Then I was promised a refund which didn't materialise until I called for a 5th time.....(F). The thermometers eventually arrived powered on so the batteries were almost dead.The good news - I changed the batteries and both thermometers now work fine.An awful experience that Amazon should be so ashamed of! Alas, it is far from being a one-off......BTW. I suspect this review will be removed by Amazon. However, if by some miracle it is published, be aware of the increasingly diabolical service....

When I opened the package containing the items I noticed both were turned on. Now how long they’ve been in that state is anyone’s guess. This could and will no doubt have an impact on the longevity of the batteries in both items. One plus was that both showed the same temperature so that’s a plus point.
