I ordered this in black, but it showed up in green—a colour I wouldn’t have chosen if given the option. It’s not overly thick or bulky, so it feels fine to wear in spring—though I’m not entirely sure how breathable it’ll be once summer hits.There’s an adjustable buckle at the back, and the way it works is fairly straightforward: you just pull the straps in opposite directions to tighten it up. I’ve got an average-sized head and only needed a slight adjustment to get a snug fit. Once it’s on, it stays put and doesn’t shift around, which is always good.Overall, the cap feels well-made for the price (£8.99), though the colour mix-up does take a bit of the shine off. If the correct colour had arrived, I’d probably be wearing it more often. As it stands, it’s become one of those items I like the idea of more than the reality—at least in green.
