I bought these Haus shoes for my child, but they had an extremely strong chemical smell right out of the box. I tried washing them and airing them out on the balcony, but the smell never went away and made the shoes completely unusable. Unfortunately, because I washed them to try to fix the issue, the seller refused my return. It’s really disappointing—especially for children's shoes—to have such a strong odor and no solution. I definitely would not recommend this product
