Son love them and says they're perfect for concert band. We had a friend custom burn some lettering on the lower part of the sticks and it worked out great. Resealing the finish went just fine as well. Overall really impressed with the quality of these sticks.

Vic Firth scs1 comprate con curiosità per studiare il tamburo sono diventate le mie bacchette preferite anche sulla batteria. Adoro la risposta sui piatti della punta tonda. La lunghezza, il peso, il bilanciamento e la densità del legno le rendono chirurgiche ad ogni variazione dinamica. Il suono che si ottiene è leggermente più scuro rispetto ad una bacchetta in Hickory. Per chi volesse provare ad utilizzarle sulla batteria sappia che le bacchette sono più pesanti e più rigide delle normali bacchette da drum set. Sono anche bellissime esteticamente.

I have done a lot of concert percussion. These are my go to sticks. They have a perfect weight and they have great durability. It only took me a few months to break other sticks. These are still going strong. And show very little ware even after hitting them on snare rims. Something in my experience has heavily damaged other sticks. If you need good sticks these are my #1 for concert percussion.

These sticks were specified by my son's Percussion ensemble director (I'm sure there's a reason). However, regardless of that, my son really likes these. He's had a couple different sets and these are his favorite......although admittedly previous sets were less pricey than these :)

Love the weight and feel of these for concert use. They are very well balanced as well.
