Love it it’s beautiful

I just did bathroom remodel and got this for my free standing tub. It is perfect and was exactly what I wanted. The quality and beauty is amazing and I love how it adjusts to the width of tub. I love it !

I had high expectations for this product, being one of the few solid wood bath tub trays. Teak wood is known to be highly impervious to water. Most other bath tub trays are made of laminated bamboo, which in my experience warps easily upon moisture exposure.This tray has a good design with user-friendly features and nice look.However the product I received was made of subpar material - likely scraps left over from furniture making. Many panels had long deep cracks running in them and in multiple places there were pithy areas, likely from sap inclusions. There were was a large, ugly, cracked knot on the edge of a panel. All these are problematic, because with the repeated moisture exposure and drying, these will definitely extend until the panels fail and break.Since nowadays it is not known if the replacement will be even worse than the piece meant to be replaced, I just used epoxy to fill in the cracks. Hopefully this will stabilize the panels.I customer should not have to do this, especially for the $64.95 paid.Unfortunately, it is typical today to charge expensive price for a really subpar product - a true predatory behavior of the importers of these products.I am giving the product 2 stars for the good design only.I feel cheated and I was definitely cheated. I just don't have the time to deal with the hassle of returning the item and then hope to receive a decent replacement.Update:After the original review was submitted XcE contacted me a, apologized for the defective item and offered a full refund.I vas very impressed with this, since I stated earlier that I didn’t want a return and I didn’t contact the seller.Based on this offer, I must assume that my experience is not typical and I must have gotten a lemon. Even though the item was of poor quality material, the customer service is top notch a, therefore I changed my rating from 2 to 4 stars.I also emailed the seller pictures of the , cracks, which are still visible after the epoxy filling.Based on my experience I wholeheartedly recommend XcE as a company which cares for its customers and the customer service they provided!
