I love this adjustable shelf! It's ultra modern and fits with most aesthetics, I have a few shelves swapped around for a less rigid look and have plants and lights placed upon it. The black metal is sleek and of high quality, and installation was fast, less than 30 minutes. I have a Story bookcase from Design Within Reach in black as well, and honestly they look like they could be from the same designer. I don't know if I'd want more than 1, but it really adds a little flavor to my place! Love it!

Umbra makes great quality products and this one is no different. What a lovely design! It's so creative and unique and it gives my space a beautiful touch. I'll be buying more to create an accent wall. Lovely!

These are cool modern shelves from Umbra. They come together relatively quickly once you find structure, to screw them into. I like the steel, it is modern and stylish. I really like that you can buy multiples and create a unique design with them.

These are very nice looking, and sturdy once you have them properly together. Installing them, however, was an unexpected adventure. The post is easy. The shelves are much harder. There are two things I wish I'd known before getting started.First: the rubber cushions on each shelf come loose very easily (which is part of how they work). Before putting them on the post, make sure they're on right (the tabs on each side should be folded around the fixing, and the little nubs should poke through the pair of holes). Then check again before you put the screw in.Second: pay attention to the orientation of the screws. The screw head goes on the side that doesn't have the raised/threaded nub. Even when you get that right, the holes in that nub are very resistant to the screw, so I had a bit of a workout getting the screws fully tightened (and it took a lot of trial and error).
