I am far from being any good at photography but this lens is amazing. I just got it and it is incredible. The 0.95 aperture in a lens at this price point is what got me to buy it. I took a few quick shots in my yard and if I can get results like this, anyone who has any talent will do very well.The lens definitely does not feel cheap. It is metal, has a good solid feel to it and a bit of weight for it's size. The lens cap screws on which some might not like, but once it's on, it is on.I got this mainly because I want to get some better low light pictures and this lens really performs in that area. Also since it has the large aperture, background blur is obviously what you would expect. This lens seems like a steal at this price. I couldn't be happier
