Put on my Deering banjo. Did not expect much for the price but the sound quality was surprisingly good.

This Sunyin pickup is virtually identical to the John Pearse one I bought some years ago at twice the price. I've tried it out on my octave mandolin and it works well, just as good as the Pearse. You have to experiment with its positioning, and I found that slightly behind the bridge on the treble side was about right. Like the Pearse, this type of pickup works best in lower noise situations, eg a small to medium concert. Higher noise levels from band or audience tend to cause feedback.The pickup comes with a short lead which incorporates a tag to hook it onto the strap button at the body heel. I was unable to do this, partly as the material around the slot on the tag is quite stiff and because the slot itself doesn't seem quite big enough. So far, I'm using the longer lead that was supplied but with a tag on it that I fashioned myself. This works fine.So far, I recommend this pickup. Time will tell whether it stands up to occasional use. The drawback with the slot on the short cable is not enough for me to give it 4 rather than 5 stars, but I think the manufacturer needs to either adjust slot size or make the tag itself from a more flexible material.

Semplice, pratico e fedele nei timbro trasmesso all'amp. Occorre tuttavia grande attenzione nel calibrare i volumi per evitare gli echo-resuond della cassa armonica: meglio piazzarlo sul retro della paletta.

Il prodotto è arrivato come previsto, imballo perfetto. A mio avviso funziona perfettamente ed ha una risposta perfetta su strumenti a corda.Consigliatissimo

Il suono che trasmette all'amplificatore è abbastanza buono, anche se enfatizza gli alti, ma il difetto importante è che la rotella che regola il volume ha troppo gioco e con le vibrazione dei suoni entra in vibrazione anche lei e con certe note gracchia. Io l'ho risolto ritagliando un pezzetto di carta di credito scaduta e mettendolo nella fessura.
