Well, this is a very beautiful book! It comes in it's own cardboard sleeve so it arrives in beautiful condition. The description of the item that is provided seems really accurate: the cover has an embossed feel, there are two blue ribbons for marking your place and an elastic to keep the book closed, and another to hold a pen. The edges are gilt, and are actually holding me back from using the thing because I know that when I start pasting things into it the beautiful, smooth golden edges are going to stop being perfect. The pages really are extra heavy, and the dot markings on the pages are more subtle than lines. I think you'd get a bit more scope for creativity with those -- they still give you some structure to keep your writing or your pictures straight, but if you want to draw instead they might recede better. The dots are printed on both sides of the page, and the pages are numbered. Both of those, whether they are good or not, are a philosophical question, but as long as you're up for the reality of it, it's well done. The last comment that I want to make is that I really love the blue they chose. It's a little bit deep, or dusky, or indigo, maybe with a touch of teal. It's a sophisticated color, and looks really good with the gold embossing and page edges. It's hard to use a journal like this, but I'm going to!

If you like the dot grid journals by archer & olive, this is a pretty close product. Paper is fountain pen friendly and resists bleed and feathering mostly. The paper is a bright white... a bit too 'cheap copy paper white' for my tastes but it does make colors pop, I guess. Overall a good quality journal for decorative bullet journaling.

I am a self-proclaimed paper snob so journals are hit and miss for me. This journal surpasses any I've had! The pages feel like they're stuck together, they're so thick!! But they're numbered so you can tell it's one page! The paper has a lovely feel to it too, so this journal definitely gets 5 stars!!The cover is very nice and has a great feel to it. I've had journals before that said they were leather and felt totally fake. This has a soft touch to it.

This is a very pretty journal and the pages are very smooth, nice to write on. Plenty thick that a normal pen hasn't had any bleed through. Feels quality, though a bit on there larger side for what I prefer, it was too pretty to pass up.
