Thermapen ONE Arancione

I am happy with this purchase starting with the speedy next day delivery.I had a cheap chinese thermometer which wore out. I decided to upgrade to the Thermapen because I have shoulder issues and my husband is learning to cook, as I am mostly unable to atm. It was expensive but better than eating dried out chicken or getting a divorce-2 of the current options.

The most efficient food thermometer I’ve ever used. Almost instant readout. Switches on and off automatically when you swing the probe out. Couldn’t be easier. It’s not cheap, but when I add up the amount I’ve spent on other thermometers over the years, I wish I’d bought this a long time ago. Highly recommended.

I have tried a variety of instant read thermometers and none comes even close to the accuracy durability and usability of a Thermopen

I was sick of overcooking and fretting over chicken and other meat dishes. Now I don't have to.This has taken the guess work out of my cooking and means I spend less time cutting and prodding and, frankly, messing up. My chicken is more succulent, my burgers are juicy, my salmon is never undercooked in the middle, etc.I went for the expensive option (Thermapen one) because it can check temperatures quickly (one second). This comes in handy if, using tonight's meal as an example, you have 10 drumsticks to check. But I've heard good things about the Pop, which may take a little longer to register each temperature, but it's a bit more robust. Anyway, I should have gotten one of these ages ago. I'll never live without a meat thermometer ever again.

The thermapen one is an unreal I stand thermometer. ~1 sec and is pre calibrated out of the box. Solid in the hand with a bit of weight.
