My wife ordered me an X4 for my birthday a couple of days ago to join my ever increasing stable of insta360 cameras, though as she ordered from the official site it has yet to arrive and I am reviewing a product I have yet to use, this and the rating are all on the assumption it fits, if not I will update the review.The first thing that struck me is the finish, my photos don't do it justice but it is gorgeous, if I didn't know it was aluminium I would have sworn it was titanium in both feel and colour.The finger mounts on the cage itself are magnetic in that when not in use they snap back into the frame automatically, a second set is included that fastens over the cold shoe mount with 2 Allen bolts -key provided- should this be your preference.It is worth noting that the two bolts provided are tiny and would be very easy to lose if switching mounts whilst out and about as it is quite a fiddly operation requiring a steady hand and good eyesight.Also, whilst the inner upper stop of the cage has a rubberised insert, the remainder is raw aluminium, this is smooth so shouldn't prove to be an issue, but it would be nice if the channels were also lined to protect the camera.I'm looking forward to mounting this on my motorcycle!

This is twice I've re-ordeted this item both times with the metal bolt missing that is supposed to hold the door securely in place.Otherwise a nice aluminium cage but with the key part amiss it's absolutely useless.NOT RECOMMENDED & will be both returned!

J’ai acheté cette cage de protection pour mon Insta360 X4 dans l’idée d’améliorer sa sécurité et de gagner en flexibilité. Globalement, je suis satisfait, même si j’ai relevé quelques points à améliorer.Les plus ✅ :- Protection efficace : La cage protège très bien la caméra contre les chocs et les rayures- Options de montage : Le support de griffe et le filetage de 6,35 mm permettent d’ajouter des accessoires facilement, ce qui offre de nombreuses possibilités de prises de vue.- Capuchon d'objectif en silicone : Pratique pour éviter la poussière et les rayures quand la caméra est dans un sac ou en transport (éviter au max de casser le verre de la caméra !)Les moins ❌ :RAS pour le moment mais attention à la petite vis qui peut-être facilement perdue dans l'utilisation quotidienneConclusion :Pour 42€, cette cage de cadre apporte une bonne protection et des options supplémentaires pour enrichir les prises de vue. Elle est intéressante pour les vidéastes qui souhaitent une protection robuste.
