Bought a wool fisherman's cap from these guys a while back and the quality was great. It came with an insulated liner which was removable with a little effort, but even so, it is such a warm hat that I only ever use it when it is freezing or below (which isn't very often). So I ordered this for a lighter, better suited to the Global Warmed environments of Northern California - We used to call ourselves The Golden State... now we're The Golden Lawns State with water restrictions. Anywho... this cap is great. It is made from an exceedingly lightweight linen fabric that allows even a light breeze to penetrate ever so slightly to keep your head from getting sweaty above the brim. There is a hatband of sorts, also made out of linen. The color is a nice, rich navy blue - almost black. It's so light I literally forget I'm wearing it. It is still enough of a hat that it is good to around 45 degrees Fahrenheit I should think. Shipping time took a fraction of the estimate. It was in New York in three days... then took a week to get from there to my doorstep.
