de très bons crayons pour le tout venant. La gomme est très utile et ne durcit que peu avec le temps. Elle ne remplace certes pas une 'mie-de-pain" mais elle est efficace, et les crayons sont super et se taillent très bien. Je les ai achetés plusieurs fois déjà!

Bought these as they are a reknown company. I was a little bit concerned that the lead might break if thrown around when being delivered but they seem fine. Quality is good and they are the real deal. Arrived in time

I have bought many brands of pencils because I like to know which brands are good for writing. These are cedar pencils but they do not have an overwhelming cedar smell. Actually these pencils do not smell at all and the paint job is wonderful. I read that these pencils are a remake of Staedtler pencils from the 1930's and 1940's. The leads on these pencils last a long time for a number 2 or HB. These pencils were made in Nuernberg, Germany and these pencils have quite a bit of eraser, depending on the paper it can leave a ghost when erased.These pencils were shipped from Bristol, United Kingdom..The only pencils that come close to the quality of these pencils are the Golden Bear pencils. The cost of these pencils were worth every penny because the quality is just absolutely great. If you feel that these pencils are too expensive read my reviews on other cheaper alternatives. Consider that the cost of wood has gone up, labor in countries like the United States and other European countries has also gone up and the new generations simply don't use pencils that much anymore. People in their 30's and older generations still like to use pencils and in my case I only buy the best and I stockpile pencils just in case Steadtler decides to quit making these wonderful pencils.
