before you buy, I recommend you buy a set of metal dental picks to make it easy to remove the b bolt lock ring, it will make installing this new b bolt a breeze. lots of helpful videos on youtube about the installation of the b bolt. overall happy with the purchase, fits like a glove on my sram gx and looks real nice. I got it to make sure my derailer has 0 play in the future, looks are a added bonus.

I have a NX 11 speed non eagle drive train and had the B-bolt play issues. To see if you have this issue pull the derailleur forward and lock it out. Move the derailleur laterally and look for play in the bolt. This is the first time I've been able to properly adjust the shifting. Was installed on a SRAM NX Eagle derailleur to replace the existing bolt. I read online that the XX1/X01 bolt reduces the amount of play than the NX/GX bolt so I gave it a shot. The design of the bolt differs as it has two o-rings and is sleeved. It fits more snug than the stock NX bolt and did reduce the amount of play on the derailleur. Shifting has been noticeably quicker and smoother. It’s also more maintenance friendly as the NX/GX bolt uses a snap washer to hold the bolt in place and it’s a bit of work to get it in and out with a pick.Definitely a good and inexpensive upgrade. Also, it is gold color (similar to other gold SRAM products), not orange. I've included a picture of something that is orange (Wolf Tooth dropper post lever).
