I have now been using this for coming up to one month, with items like this I like to test the product to make sure no issues arise and this also enables me to give a better review with functionality too.Upon opening this I was slightly annoyed to see the box had already opened but apart from that everything was in good condition inside and sealed.The design in my view is catered to a very specific taste, I'm not entirely sure if I'd be willing to have this on display in a main area as it looks a little cheap and plastic to me. I'm not keen on the colouring either and the grill being different from the subwoofer actually annoys me somewhat. The whole system should have been black and that would have definitely helped with the overall style by marching.In the box you have an AV cable, fiberoptic cable, remote, RCA cable, wall plugs, plug, subwoofer and the soundbar.The subwoofer is only 30w total but surprisingly does preform well, you can adjust the bass levels if you wish and this definitely helps to give a better atmosphere and it does go fairly loud and bassy.The soundbar sound quality is a bit of a miss, you can select preset EQ modes; classical, rock, jazz, pop and then two I cannot read at all on the display. The manual doesn't state anything on these presets and thus I have no idea what they do. I found the closest mode for listening was pop but this lowers the overall volume produced and you need to up it, you'll also need to increase the treble and bass when on this.The other modes didn't suit the style of music I was playing and I found issues with overall performance.I found the soundbar lacked mids and the correct balance, vocals didn't sound right on several songs I know inside and out. There was also crackling noises on a couple of others I regularly listen to.It has issues with handling acoustic music and vocals for example but seems to perform in line with dance and bassy music. Electronic music actually sound pretty decent and it's able to correctly produce the sounds needed here.I'm actually using this in a room I have set up as a gym, so for me this works ok with what I'll be listening to. I'm going to mount it to a TV with a frame adapter but you can wall mount with the included screws when needed.Connection wise is fairly limited if you're looking to have Arc functions, there isn't an input for HDMI. There is however an optical cable to link that way or you can use Bluetooth - this is what I'm using from my phone when exercising.I'm knocking two off due to the issues with certain music types and also lack of arc for returning from a TV.

The box for this product was ripped and dinted the remote was out of the plastic sleave that protects it and the plastic to the speaker looked like it had been ripped openand resealed with celotape it looked like somebody had sent this item back

This is loud deep bass..theater sound quallity..it make you wana grab popcorn lol... i also have a small living room so this is more than enough. Easy set up..music sounds gd from my ph as well..no hdmi. Great price value. Small compact. It would be great if the side function buttons had a back light but there is the remote. The led lights add a nice touch. Happy with purchase!

This is Cheap and cheerful at under £60 at the time of recieving.For the price the quality is ok, we have this in the kids room and they are chuffed at with it, the LEDs look cool too.Nice and compact, easy to set up and use too.

What a surprise this little compact system turned out to be. It has great sound quality and I love the base. I use it with the television in my bedroom. This is easily comparable to a system I have in my living room that I paid $450 for and that's no exaggeration. My system is by JBL. The sound bar measures over 3 feet wide and the subwoofer is enormous. The subwoofer on this Smalody system does not plug in to an outlet like the JBL and still it sounds far better. At just around $60 this system is not just good value for money, it's an outright steal. For me, the set up was a little challenging dealing with the fine print and the diagrams. I got the Gen Z-er in my household to do the set-up and for her it was a piece of cake. The blue tooth connectivity works really well with my iPhone making my music sound like I'm in a concert. My advice: Be sure to connect the TV & sound bar using the optical digital audio connection rather than the coaxial cable. It creates a much better sound. I would give this system 6 stars if I could.
