i contaminated my rear pads on a new road bike trying to center the pads. pro tip those bolts you need to loosen are at the bottom not the ones holding the halves of the brake together. i bled the brake and replaced the pads. no sound and good braking power downhill( after being bedded of course).

The original brake pads got contaminated and would create a horrible sound when coming to a stop. Installed these and now the noise is gone. Hallelujah !!
