I’ve used this with one bike on 2 trips so far on my BMW X2. About 160 miles, 2 hours each trip at 80 mph average speed. Works well and suction holds strong.

I like the versatility of this for different car types. I currently use it on my Fiat Abarth and my my wife’s Honda CRV - I will easily be able to use it on future cars or rentals. There’s not a lot of room on the front portion of the Fiat’s front roof length (because of the sunroof) or Honda’s roof width (it has channels) for the rack but we had plenty of space on the top portion of the windshield without causing visibility issues. You should make sure you have space on your windshield without causing visibility issues or that you have a smooth location on your cars roof top. (I also have the Talon for a single bike - this could fit on the roof top.)The suction works great at highway speeds. I cruised at speeds a high as 80 MPH. I’ll admit I was a bit nervous the first time. I like the indicators that tell you if it’s lost suction.

I have a Tesla model S glass roof that doesn't have the possibility of the Tesla roof rack. I bought this because Tesla would have charged me $1800 for a proper roof rack. When this device arrived, I was skeptical about it staying on my roof.On first attachment, I noted that the bomber rack is flat whereas the roof is of a spherical nature. I was hesitant.I attached one end sucker and slowly attached the rest. I had to pull down the other end with my hands in order for the sucker to contact the roof. It did, and the suction held.I left it overnight and the suction held after 10 hours. I pumped it up again even though the orange line wasn't showing and I went for a drive. It was fine.So far it has been impressive. I haven't yet put a bike on it but the suctions definitely are strong and they don't leak overnight.1. It's not an install and forget device. YOU HAVE TO PUMP IT UP PERIODICALLY

I really wanted to like this product as it promises a truly elegant solution carrying 3 cycles on the roof of a car without the need for a conventional roof rack system. Assembly was simple. You will need an Alley key and a wrench to install the fork mounts to the base. As the description states, the quick release bike mounts seem heavy duty, and it really was a doddle to install on the car, and didn't appear to damage the car in any way. However, I noticed that one of the 5 sea suckers cup wouldn't hold for more than a minute before the low suction warning band was visible on the pump. I tried cleaning it and reapplying it just wouldn't hold. The other suckers seemed fine. The product ships with a spare sucker, so I tried to swap out the defective one. The spare sucker wouldn't install correctly because the receiving thread in the sucker turned in its housing. For a product of this price (£400), I would expect the product to be perfect. To me personally, attaching a bike rack and three bikes to the roof of your car via suction alone required a high degree of faith in the product. Sadly the one that I received failed to give me that confidence. I have no doubt that if I had received a perfect product, this would have been a 5 star review. If you do buy one of these products, be sure to test the suction holds before using it (as stated in the instructions). Oh, and keep an eye on it because they are really quick and easy to remove.
