These absolutely transform the M500. Before I fitted these I would be lucky to get one 2 hour session without the mower getting stuck due to a sloping garden, and on average I would need to rescue it 2 or 3 times over a 2 hour mowing session. I would also get holes in the garden where it spun its wheels uselessly before declaring failure, and even a broken wire if it dug long enough. But after fitting these it has been absolutely flawless - set it going 11 days ago and it hasnt been stuck once, and there are no holes anymore because it actually has some traction. Quite how Worx sell their mowers without this is beyond me; I was seriously considering ditching the thing but I now have what I thought I was buying in the first place - a mower that works.Fitting is best done by removing the wheels, but that's easy - release 3 clips on inside of wheel, pop plastic cover off, undo nut. Secure on a bench, centralise the claws with the inside of the wheel rubber - they are almost the same size. Make indentations for each hole with one of the screws, and drill a small pilot hole for each screw with a 1mm drill. Screws only go into the rubber of the wheel and it seems shonky, but it works just fine - just don't expect the screws to go solid as they are only holding onto rubber. Wheel back on with weight plate, nut on, and pop cover back on.On the WR165E (M500 plus) these have to go on the outside for clearance, and the orange plastic on the right side needs a small cut to clear the claws - see photo. Took me about 5 minutes to do with a hacksaw and file. Don't be put off, the reward is absolutely worth the effort, and your Landroid is useless otherwise.I chose these because they are black, and they specifically said 7mm protrusion beyond the wheel. Others may be similar dimensions but I wanted to get the best traction I could. The bonus is that Marvin is now also aerating the lawn as he goes. Definitely the best £37 I've spent this year, and I'm about to order another set for Morris.
