Ordered this last year and never got to doing the installation. Wanted to get on it before the doves start to nest under my panels again this year. But when I opened up the package, there was only the roll and not the fasteners. Called up squirrelguard and they sent them to me free of charge even thought it was 9 months later. Amazing! I did not expect that. When they arrived, I got right to the project. It’s easy to work wish and installed relatively quickly. Very happy with it!

This works well for putting around solar panels on the roof to keep squirrels out from under them. Disappointed however that we need only 8 more feet and the seller will not sell us this. They will only sell in 100-foot rolls. Would be nice if they'd sell in 10-foot lengths for those who need just a bit more than 100. Even $20 for 10 feet would be twice as much per foot for them and help the buyers. The seller refused to sell us less than 100 feet. :-(

Overall the mesh is good and flexible enough to work with and cut easily, and the black color blends into the roof which is nice. However, the first section I installed had bulges all over, after rolling out the mesh I saw that it had a curve in it so the only way to install it along a long flat section I had to cut reliefs into it. For the price I'd expect a straight product.The other thing is the attachments pins, they are pretty flimsy. I'm not sure exactly how long they'll last and how many I'll have to replace year after year.

I am very happy with this Squirrel guard. I used mine on a metal roof. it worked fine. I cut the guard at each hump, or high spot on the roof every 2 feet. It only took a few seconds each time and the install went fast. The clips are easy to assemble and take longer to describe then to do. I had all 100 clips assembled in a few minutes. If you are in the woods, or have overhanging trees near your house, (like I do) I would recommend this kit to every solar owner before they have squirrel damage. For $120 it is cheap insurance on a $27,000 solar system.
