The empty battery holder fitted in my torches - shown in my photo #1.Then I put the batteries in. They stand proud of the holder’s declared 21mm diameter; they make it 1.5-2mm fatter. You can see the battery edges poking out a slight yet significant amount in my photo #2.The loaded battery holder did not fit in my torches because of that additional thickness.You can save yourself the hassle by testing your torch before purchase.1 Tape up 3 AAA batteries as I show in my photo #3.2 Try, gently, to insert them in your torch as I could not do, see my photo #4.3.1 If they do not go in then there is no point getting this holder.3.2 If they do go in then check length - see my photo #5. Check that your torch has a battery compartment spring to accommodate the slight difference in length [the plunger shown on the end of the holder is also on a spring so that also adds to flexibility in length]. If, as seems likely, there is no length problem then you can go ahead.If the product page had said that the batteries stood proud of the holder then I could have avoided the disappointment and the hassle of returning the thing.I had been looking forward to using AAA batteries across the board instead of also needing 18650s for two torches. I've got lots of things that need AAAs so I have plenty of them and I have three chargers that can take them.

This was purchased to replace a battery holder from which one of the spring contacts had been lost. It was a good fit for the torch and works well.

They are the correct length but are too fat I had to return
