First off. YES. Im 5’4. And 150lbs. Im thick. I got them for work, and theyre perfect.The top buckle is around my knee so its a little uncomfortable to squat in, but i can never find boots thick enough for my calf and thigh ratio. And these still had more room to tighten them!

These are a teeeeeny bit on the big size, but not enough for it to be a problem. I'd go for your usual size, don't worry about them being too small, and if you're halfway between two available sizes, I'd go for the smaller one. I've got skinny legs and was worried about them being too wide or sliding down, but once laced up they fit just fine, and I feel like they'd be very accommodating of different leg sizes. They're also a good length- I'm five feet tall and they're not uncomfortably long on me, and they do come well over the knee. I think they look brilliant and I'm really impressed by the quality. It's nice to get something that's as good as it is in the picture! And yes, they are squeaky- don't put them on if you're trying to sneak out!
