Worked great untill now, 5 moths on . Suddenly got flat bread with exact same method of making. Tried 10 types of bread mix and changed water amount.

So pleased with this machine. I love making my own bread but the time it takes makes it impractical most of the time. This Panasonic takes all the effort and waiting around for the dough to prove out of it. The instruction book is very easy to follow and gives advice and recipes for every type of bread. tells you how to make the sourdough starter etc. I went for this model because we like sourdough. It was a little more expensive but will be worth it. It looks really smart in my Kitchen and id quite sleek, taking up very little space I originally ordered the ANDREW JAMES bread maker, but it didn't work from day one. I returned to Amazon and had a gift voucher credit which allowed me to re-order the Panasonic one immediately. There is no contest. My friend had originally recommended the Panasonic to me , I should have heeded her advice at the beginning . The lovely smell of freshly cooked bread, knowing what ingredients are in my bread, the time and effort saved all well worth it . Amazon sorted out my faulty machine with immediate effect and problem solved. Wish I'd bought this years ago

I owned a bread machine several years ago but found the results so variable that I stopped using it and eventually gave it away. Within the last few years however I decided that I would like to give it a go again, particularly as I enjoy some of the speciality breads that can go stale quickly. I bought this bread machine about four years ago and, since that time, I have not purchased a single loaf of bread in the shops.The bread machine is easy to use and produces fantastic bread. Using some packaged bread mixes reduces the need to keep a host of ingredients to hand and means that it is possible to turn out a freshly baked loaf in less than 2 hours. In other words, fresh bread daily isn’t a chore and it is a proper crusty loaf.I have found the results have been consistently good. One early loaf had a slightly uneven top but that was my fault as I could not resist peeping at the bread by raising the lid part way through the process. All other loaves of bread it has produced have been light, crusty and perfectly cooked. Even my old pet hate of the hole in the base of a loaf caused by the mixing paddle hasn’t been a problem with this machine as it is much smaller, still there, but only affecting perhaps two slices from the middle of the loaf.The tops of my loaves of bread tend to be pretty even, unless I have taken a peak early (still can’t resist that from time to time) and I now always start the loaf the night before I want it so that it is baked and cooled in the machine before I cut it. That seems to produce a loaf that is much easier to cut and without a hard crust that cracks and falls away from the slice.This is quiet in operation and doesn’t move across the worktop like my previous machine did. The only drawback is that this is a sizeable kitchen gadget that doesn’t fit in any of my standard cupboards. But it is in use every day, so keeping it out on display is not really a problem.

Super easy to use and it makes amazing bread.This is mine and my wife's first bread maker and we love it.Not being experienced with bread makers, I did a lot of research and read a lot of reviews. This seemed to be the best bread maker available below £150. Also we wanted a black one so this was a no brainer for us.I bought this at a good price through Amazon warehouse deals but it had clearly been used, after cleaning it up a little I noticed the instruction manual was missing and as this was a gift for my wife I was initially disappointed. My wife likes a bargain and did not let this deter her, we downloaded the instructions from the internet and baked a sample bread.The sample bread was amazing, it made to whole house smell beautiful and most importantly it tasted great. This was with no prior experience too, though admittedly we did use a own branded premade seeded bread mix from a major supermarket.We have since made quite a few loafs using bread mixes, it works why change, we have constantly had great results.Here will answer a few of my initial concerns that I had after reading some of the reviews and also I will list a few tips...*We prefer the crust setting on medium.*We have had no issues with the paddle. (I believe this is because we are precise at measuring out the ingredients)*This thing hasn't needed cleaning yet, the bread just comes out clean, I wipe it with some kitchen towel afterwards but it doesn't even need that.*The dispenser had always worked as expected, but I did read in someone elses review not to wipe it just immediately prior to use as the static can cause issue. I wipe mine immediately after use. I've not tried raisens yet but have read to powder them in flour to prevent them sticking.*The bread tastes and smells amazing which is the most important thing.*No instructions came with ours but that's the problem with buying second hand from Amazon Warehouse. This was overcome by downloading the instructions in PDF from the internet. Once you familiarise yourself with the bread maker it is really simply to use.We are extramly happy with this and would certainly recommend to others. We are very happy to rate this 5stars.

This machine is totally brilliant!! For years I had an old cheap Hinari machine in which I made some delicious loaves, but I used it rarely because it was a bit fiddly and not totally reliable. Always I lusted after a Panasonic , but I felt I could not afford it. Then one lucky day I checked Amazon's daily special, and there it was--the dream machine at a great price, and I did not try to resist. Since 25th February I have not bought a loaf; this lovely machine is so easy to use and makes such wonderful bread that I am using it every couple of days. I have tried a few different types (there are far too many options to try all in so short a time), and all have been easy and delicious. French bread, my latest trial, was perfect--chewy crisp crust and soft, delicious interior. I love the fruit dispenser and the choice of three sizes of loaf, plus special paddle and menu for rye bread. I have used recipes from the ,manual but also adapted recipes from elsewhere, and all have been perfect--except for the time I made a fruit loaf but did not choose the correct menu, so the fruit did not drop; then I had an interesting spice bread! I made an amazing Swedish Limpa rye bread (there is even a special paddle for rye flours) that brought back wonderful childhood memories. I have had success with both the timed delay and the regular baking menus. I have not yet tried any of the sweet buns and rolls using the dough cycle, but I can't wait to see how that goes. The machine has a gluten-free menu for those who need that, menu for sour dough bread, artisan breads, and of course jams and cakes, which I will eventually explore. Meantime, I am just loving this machine. The procedure is easy, the results superb, and to clean up, just wipe out the pan and paddle with a dry cloth (do not immerse in water). So far, the paddle has never once stuck inside the bread nor the bread in the pan. If you love good bread and are at all tempted by a bread machine, don't hesitate. This machine, in black or white, has been greatly reduced a few times recently as Amazon's offer of the day. One of my best purchases EVER!!! (French bread pictured)
