When you’re with the young grandchildren and helping them crafting, sewing or something similar, where scissors are needed, what do you do? Break out the adult scissors?That’s why I ordered these wonderful scissors. They even have a safety cap where you can put the blades safely away to protect your hands. At only three inches long, they are just the right length for small hands to be able to use. They’re also lightweight, which means children won’t struggle to pick them up and use them safely. The blades are sharp, so only let children use these under supervision.I do have one safety concern over the design, and that’s the pointed tip. Why on earth would they design scissors that could easily be used by children to have a sharp, pointed tip? Even under supervision, that makes no sense to me or the wife.Other than that, I do like them.The price at review of just under £9 is reasonable, offering good value for money.Four stars. (It would have been five, but for the potentially 'unsafe' pointed tip.)

For anyone who does embroidery, crochet, knitting etc we all know how important a decent set of snips are.These are as small as advertised, which means they pop in my crochet hook bag easily.They seem nice and sharp although I have yet to try them on anything more then DK yarn.I do have one concern and that is that the metal part only goes part way into the plastic handle. I have had scissors like this before and with too much pressure the plastic splits away - so it remains to be seen if these are durable - I will update later.Lastly - do not be fooled by the photo that shows full metal scissors with a bird design - that is not what you get and the advertisers should really remove that photo.

Great very small and very sharp scissors.These scissors have been so handy when having to unpick stitching for a sewing project. They have a very sharp point that will get under the tightest stitch and cuts with ease.The finger holes are small and they wouldn't be comfortable if i had to use them for long periods but for what i will be using them for they're perfect.The scissors come with blade guards which is good because as i said the point is very sharp and could lead to an injury.I would have liked them to be a bit bigger to make them easier to control.

are sharp and work brilliantly for cutting out small fussy cuts etc where accuracy is needed or for snipping threads etc. The little safety covers are good too as they keep them from creating issues when in a work bag.
