Playing heavy metal, I'm rather hard on heads and cymbals. This is BY FAR the most durable snare drumhead I've owned so far. Definitely a fan and will purchase again.

I have bounced around on snare heads for years always looking for a distinct snap with tone and this head delivers. Every time I try a new different head I am always disappointed in comparison to the Remo Powerstroke. I use Evans heads on my toms and kick, but the snare needs Remo for that tight snap with enough tone but no overtones.
