It’s important to realise that the two sides of these acrylic ornaments are different. One is very smooth and shiny, the other is matte and slightly textured, which I discovered by accident. I am currently experimenting with pens and so far have found Sharpies work well on them without smudging. Micron pens took a very long time to dry even on the matte side. They are a nice size and I will be using them to embellish presents and as Christmas tree decorations.

These wooden hearts are a great addition to my craft box. Each one is smooth with no splinters or rough edges. Nice and pale wood too.The description on the item is confusing though as it talks about acrylic and they are definitely wood, maybe compressed wood but not acrylic at all - so be warned if you are looking for acrylic these are not them.I haven't yet decided what to use them for, Christmas decorations, painting, valentines and so on, maybe all of them as there are quite a few, 35 to be precise. And at £15.99 it works out at about 45p a heart, which is great value.

These acrylic heart shapes arrive with protective paper covers on both sides that can be peeled off easily to reveal a shiny white surface on one side and a white matt surface on the other.The hearts are very good quality, thick, strong and smooth with a hole to thread ribbon through. Also supplied is a length of cream silky ribbon.Not all pens and paints are going to work on these acrylic hearts, I tried some different ones with mixed results. For instance I found that permanent ink markers worked better and dried faster than acrylic pens and darker colours tend to look streaky. I want to try and use these for wedding gift tags so I need to do some research to find the best way to decorate them.So, if you know what you’re doing, I can recommend these - they’re well made and good value.

This is a pack of 25 clear acrylic hearts. They have holes pre-drilled in and come with ribbons to use for hanging.They are covered on both sides with the sticky paper that removes easily and leaves no residue. I am using them with resin so it's ideal to remove one side of the paper, pour my resin on, wait for it to dry then remove the other side as I don't have to worry about drips or smudges on the underneath.The acrylic is clear and smooth with no scratches on.

These hearts are so beautiful, I love them. Once you peel the protective film off, they sparkle and glisten well. The ribbon comes in one long line so you need to cut it to size and make a bow yourself, which I found difficult to make them look like the picture on the ad. They are also plain without words so you can add your own - I used a peel-off sticker that are usually used for card making. They are a good size, feel strong and durable and look great too, I'm impressed. Reasonable value for money in my opinion.
