I love this. I used to have sooo many plants in my house, but after I developed a chronic illness, either my plants picked up on the new vibe or else I wasn't taking care of them as well as I once had been, and gradually they all died. Multiply that by having cats (and a dog) who think that all plants are for snacking, and my home has been barren and completely lacking in greenery for a long time.I've never been much of a fan of fake plants, but I must say the selection on Amazon has changed my mind, and this nearly 5-foot-tall olive tree is no exception! Assembly and "fluffing" was quick and easy, and while the cats are veerrrrry interested, so far they have limited themselves to some sniffing and visual inspecting - there's no scent of "nature," so there's no scratching, no climbing, and best of all, no peeing in the soil because there IS no soil!!A close visual inspection will show that the plant is fake, of course, but keeping it in the corners or using it to give dimension and visual interest to unused space is a great way to maximize the impression of a healthy, thriving olive tree in your home, with virtually none of the fuss that comes with large indoor plants plus curious pets. An occasional dusting and perhaps a shower once a year should keep it looking as fresh as the day you unpacked it. Very pleased!

I am very impressed with this tree. It's exactly 5 feet with the branches adding a little more height if you spread the leaves out to make it look fuller. It comes with easy instructions to attach the branches. They're great quality, heavy, steady and lots of leaves. Other faux trees I've had were flimsy and didn't look full. You won't have a problem with this one. It also comes with river stones to add to the base once you get the tree in to make it look even nicer. It's probably best to place it in an area that is more open as it's not really for small spaces; you can use it but you'll want a good open spot about 4 feet wide. This really is a great choice.

What a beautiful faux olive tree. It’s quite large and heavy!Assembly was quite simple. There are assembly instructions tied onto the tree to guide you through process. All of the branches that need connecting are labeled and easily identified. I will mention that the metal branch connector posts are covered with green rubber sleeves. Make sure to remove them before trying to inset the upper branches to them.The white pot the tree is placed in is made of a thick plastic, and has a pretty basket weave design.The tree trunk is quite beefy and it’s made of a heavyweight material that feels like a type of sculpted plaster. It’s quite weighty which keeps the tree very stable.The tree branches are wired, making it easy to adjust and shape the branches.Also included was a large bag of polished black river rocks. They look lovely at the base of the tree and give it the perfect finishing touch. They provide a generous amount so I had some left over.Overall, I’m extremely pleased with this gorgeous tree. It’s quite substantial, tall, well constructed, stable, weighted and, it looks amazing! Love it!

I placed this VeriNatural olive tree it in the corner beneath a water color of an olive tree. They look great together. The tree itself is just the right size, but the planter made it a little too tall for the chosen location. Instead of using the planter that it came with, I put the tree in a basket on top of an old wooden box. I appreciate that the tree is heavy and stable enough to allow it to be used this way.
