Well made, simple to use, looks great, and a great addition to be able to play alternate tuning. Very, very worthwhile.

As previous reviews have pointed out, the "G7" capo will not work on all guitars. I experience dampening on the strings of both my "Martin" and my "Oscar Schmidt". From the third fret on up the neck it works well.

Bin absolut begeistert. Hatte die letzten 40 Jahre nur Capos, die Zug auf die Saiten brachten, so dass man immer ein bißchen nachstimmen bzw. korrigieren musste.Der G7th ist kinderleicht zu handhaben ( Ansetzen, auf Saiten und Hals drücken, Schraube leicht festziehen)Der Klang ist immer astrein.Hatte mir gleich noch einen zweiten bestellt.

Di capotasti ne ho provati tanti, ma quelli della Newport sono il top del top! Cosa può fare mai la differenza in un pezzetto che stringe delle corde? Semplice:, gli altri capotasti, chi più chi meno, necessitano di una forte chiusura per avere la pressione necessaria in modo da suonare le corde in maniera pulita. Con questo invece basta davvero appoggiarlo e stringere appena per avere le note senza la minima sporcizia! Questo si traduce in una tenuta dell'accordatura perfetta, perchè non c'è pressione che manda in tensione corde e manico e danneggia l'intonazione (problema noto comune a tutti i capotasti). Il prezzo è in linea con la qualità del prodotto e si ha la garanzia a vita della casa produttrice. Cosa volere di più? Consigliatissimo!

Does what it says and is very sturdy and of excellent quality. This is a high-end capo. I particularly like the gold as it looks a bit special. It's compact and easy and quick to fit. It doesn't clamp to the headstock so well, but slips nicely in the pocket. I like the screw tightener. It makes me feel more confident when I can put it on different guitars and know that I can tweak it to get the pressure just right. The Performance model is another alternative if you don't want the screw action.

De los tres modelos que tiene G7th, me quedo con la Newport. Puedes regular la presión de la cejilla según el mástil sin dañar la guitarra.Muy cómoda, con una mano puedes quitar/poner o cambiar de traste.
