Lots of summertime photos involve water and bright skies. Effective use of a polarizing filter will snap photos including either or both.This Circular Polarizing Filter (CPL) increases color saturation making clouds stand out from a blue sky and minimizes or eliminates reflections on glass, water and other surfaces. Water looks more transparent.For best results with this filter,m you have to rotate the filter in its ring=, rotate the camera itself or the filter holder. You can see the results on your phone display, Or you can just clip the filter and its holder to the phonde, do a quick set-up and let it be. As with sio many other things, practice makes perfect.Using this detachable filter and an adjustable plastic clip is a great idea. You can use other 67mm filters in the clip or use the CPL on 67mm camera lenses.The clip is padded to prevent damage to your phone.Neewer has a reputation for quality and this product is no exception. It comes with a hard shell carrying case and cleaning cloth.Learning to use a CPL is worthwhile investment of time that will result in better photos.Jerry

The lens comes in a nice zip case -- It is not quite an exact fit but it appears to be fairly secure inside it.It is not difficult getting this lens on the phone, and it is large enough that it is fairly universal across all phone cameras. One thing that I did notice is that my Google Pixel would show a flashing light on the screen while previewing and taking photos, but ultimately these do not show up in the photo. My guess is that this is one of the sensors of the phone's camera for things like distance, lighting adjustment, etc.When taking photos indoors, you may actually get a little bit of ghosting if there are light sources within the shot -- I have attached a photo as an example with me pointing toward one of my recessed lights in y kitchen.As far as filtering goes though -- I would say it does the job. I attached an example of a before and after filter shot which shows the product doing its thing. Some people may not like the change in color temperature but from what I can see it makes the photo a little less harsh, especially if you are dealing with LED lighting with the high whites.

I'm a big fan of Neewer and own many of their products. This variable ND filter is quite large, so it will fit over all of the lenses that most smartphones have. The clamp has a nice soft rubber pad to protect the screen on your phone as well.As far as the ND filter itself, it is made of very good quality metal and glass, just like you would see on Neewer filters for 35mm lenses. The variable ring rotates the glass with a smooth feel.I had set my phone camera to the pro settings so I was able to keep the ISO locked in and adjust the ND filter accordingly to my needs. Not only does it have a wide stop-down range, the high quality glass gives you a beautiful image, helping the phone camera to bring up rich colors.If you want to step up your outdoor photo and video images to a higher level with your phone camera, this is definitely a variable ND filter that you'll want to have.

This phone camera filter is pretty cool. It is great quality. Its some kind of black steel material. You simply twist the lens to adjust your camera. It does make a difference in your photos and videos. I have an iphone and although it doesn't say that it is for iphones it still worked pretty well. It clips on and has a screw that you screw in to keep it in place. This could be the perfect tool for up and coming photographers because its easy to use and gives "im a apprentice photographer" feel while adjusting the filter. It makes photos/videos darker or lighter and adjusts however you like things to look. It also makes your pictures and videos look a bit more professional in my opinion. I would recommend this for anyone wanting to jazz up their picture taking.

This filter works as it should, but you really do need to understand what it is and how it is used. This filter will reduce the intensity of wavelengths of light in a uniform manner, allowing you to use expert settings on your phone camera like you would with a traditional DSLR or SLR camera. You really don't need this if you use automatic settings on your camera. If, however, you are a real photographer and want something to clip onto your cellular phone to use pro settings, this will do exactly what you expect.The clip is solid and can be set with a screw that makes it so that it won't fall off if bumped. The clip is plastic, and the screw is plastic, so there is potential of it being damaged, but this is unlikely. The case it comes in is quite nice and has a zipper to keep it closed. This protects the filter and is a very nice addition.Recommended for photographers, but not for people who are not familiar with pro settings or SLR/DSLR cameras and the fundamentals of photography.
