A beautifully made Udu (Ibo), yes. Under $100, yes. Requires a $2,500 microphone setup to get the sound out of it, yes. Returned.

Only giving this 3 stars because the description is incorrect this does NOT have a liquid chamber but you can put water in it if you choose so. I asked an amazon rep to confirm with the seller that it does and seller insisted that it does but the good folks over at Meinl confirmed it does NOT have a liquid chamber. Sellers should know the products they are selling other than that it's a beautiful drum as expected from Meinl.

知人にイボドラムを1度叩かせてもらった初心者です。知人の持っていたのと比べると、とても肉厚なイボドラムです。音はちゃんと「ドゥン」となりますが、音量はとても小さいです。ステージで使用するとしたらマイクでもこの音量を拾うのは難しいと思います。自分は自宅での練習用に使用していますので、家族に気にせず叩けてとても満足です。

I love Udu/Ibo drums the sounds are great although very quiet. This one is nice and small and with a microphone really comes to life. You can still play it without if you are at home I often jam using this and my two others and it stands up well next to the fiberglass and LP Udu's.
