only bad thing i can say is i loose the drill bits but i really only use one or two anyway and thats more of a me problem

A few weeks ago I bought a miniature shadow box kit here on Amazon. I did not realize that the holes needed to attach the door to the frame of the box would not be predrilled. So I returned to Amazon to look for an inexpensive hand drill that could do this. I eventually decided on this one after looking at many models and reading many reviews.Not having used a hand drill before, this was a learning experience overall, but I am pleased with this drill. There were no instructions for use included, but it was simple to figure out how to get the bits in (not that dissimilar to how you insert blades into a hobby knife) and after some practice I got used to the movements required for drilling and was able to create the 8 tiny holes needed for the hinges of the frame front. I am no expert, but the bit I chose seemed very effective and accurate and “sharp” (not sure what the right word is when you want to say the bit cut through things smoothly and easily).I expect I will be able to make more use of this simple but effective drill for future projects, especially given the many different sizes of bits included and the amount of miniatures I make.
