It has no requirements other than to remember the password, which can also be changed at any time, once you enter the correct password and open it. It's a ticking It's very quick to lock in and unlock and no brainers convenient to use. The construction is OK, looks like it should last in all weathers, at least assuming so based on the fact that there is only a single key and all parts are looking well made. Would recommend as a way to secure things for short periods, for no more than 1 hour personally.

Um bei Ausfahrten mit unserem kleinen Roller den Helm nach dem Parken nicht mitnehmen zu müssen, sondern am Roller befestigen zu können, bestellte ich bei Amazon das HOUSON Helmschloss mit Zahlencode.Das Schloss ist angenehm klein und findet so locker im Staufach unter der Sitzbank des Rollers Platz. Das Einstellen einer eigenen Zahlenkombination geht - auch dank einer kleinen Anleitung - sehr einfach vonstatten. Das Spiralkabel ist zwar recht dünn (nicht zu vergleichen mit den Kabeln dicker Fahrradschlösser), lässt sich dafür aber z.B. gut durch den Helm und einen Bügel am Gepäckträger fädeln. Rein für die sichere Befestigung eines Helms ist das Schloss ausreichend; für höherwertige Gegenstände ist das Helmschloss vom meinem Eindruck her unterdimensioniert.Fazit: für unsere Zwecke - die Befestigung eines Helms an einem Roller (beim Parken) - ist das HOUSON Helmschloss bestens geeignet. Leicht mitzunehmen, solide verarbeitet, Kombination leicht einstellbar. Der Preis von ca. 9 Euro geht ebenfalls voll in Ordnung. Kann ich empfehlen.

I was skeptical about this affordable bike lock, but the HOUSON Helmet Lock 150cm exceeded my expectations! Durable and easy to use, it provides great peace of mind. The number code system is a nice touch. The lock is sturdy and can withstand moderate force, making it an excellent value for the price

Ideal way to lock helmet to your bike. Put cable through d ring or visor aperture. Can change 4 digit code to any of your choice. Good value too.
