In my humble opinion, this is the best idea if you're firing your Mosin or any other model that uses the 7.62x54R cartridge. The non brass factory stuff is supposed to not be corrosive but I've read it's not so certain. These are pretty old to begin with so I'd prefer to load my own and be safe overall. Not to mention, these are expensive to buy but cheaper to load or reload.Also, already having a mold that I use with 300 Blackout is a bonus that has me buying new brass and going from there. Lee dies are a great buy.
