Use this for 44 Russian loading. I have 44 special. But once these are set up just easier to swap dies out instead of messing.

Bought these because I didn't want to grind my 44 mag dies down to load 44 Russian. Got the set and the seating die was a 44SPL/Mag die anyway and it wouldn't apply a crimp to the 44 Russian. I called Lee and they said this was correct, but the die may have been bored too deep. They said I could send it in to the custom shop and have the base of the die ground down. As this was a non-critical dimension, I decided to save on the shipping and turnaround time and just do it myself. 10 seconds on the belt sander and it was good to go. Now it applies a nice roll crimp as it should.
