I've found this steering wheel knob to be very well constructed and would consider it "heavy duty". Itmounts up solid to my steering wheel and stays in place and secure in it's location. I would definitelyrecommend this product to others considering the addition of a steering wheel knob.

Good solid construction. Installs easily as well. I can't vouch for longevity as I've only had it a few weeks but it appears to be very durable and doesn't cost an arm and a leg.
