I was looking forward to receive these needles, because of the triangular shape, but this is the reason why I'm returning them. I didn't feel to rate them lower than 4, just because I don't like them. There is nothing wrong with them, the wood is a beautiful color and they have a feature that I've not seen in other KnitPro needles: they have the size number on the needle like all other types but they also have the size printed or actually "imprinted" on the lower metal part of the needle.Unfortunately, because the needles are triangles and, surely for the way I knit, the purl stitches sit very high for me, they sit right on top of one of the 3 corners (which it kind of makes sense that they sit on 1 of the highest point of the triangle), making them too high to reach with my needle and I have to do an extra step to push the purl stitches down before I can purl them. It was tiring after just one row.I tried different ways but they just don't match with my knitting style. I'm sorry about this because I wanted to able to use this particular type of needles, which I didn't find anything wrong in the needles themselves, just not for me.They come in a beautiful dark blue color and being wood, they feel nice on your hands. I didn't find them particularly sliding, which is something I want in my needles, except some times when I intentionally want grippy needles but if you are starting out and want your stitches stuck to your needles so they don't slide away constantly, then these J'Adore Cubics are right for you. Trust me, the stitches are not going to go anywhere. The shape makes them not to slide so you have more control of the stitches and where they go.
