My brake light switch on my Seat Arosa started to become faulty albeit intermittently. This becomes a major issue if like my car it’s an automatic. It essentially means the car doesn’t know the brake pedal is being pressed, which then prevents you from using the automatic gearbox.After searching most local motor factors and finding they don’t stock the part . I took a chance searching the internet to find this part on amazon. After seeing a review saying this part fit the polo 6n model, and the mk1 Arosa having most of the same parts, I decided to take a chance on this.The part arrived within 3 days, which given I couldn’t use my car, wasn’t too bad. I got straight to fitting the part having checked the electric connection would fit, which it did. After 3 hours of physical gymnastics, scuffed knuckles and a lot of swearing, I finally got the part fitted into place. The part has been fitted now for 6 weeks and is working perfectly.I definitely recommend this part if your brake light switch needs replacing, and you have a mk1 Seat Arosa. Well known brand, fantastic price and delivered to your door. What more could you want.

Bestellt wurde der Schalter für einen Polo, BJ 1998. Daher haben wir kein Original gesucht, sondern beim günstigeren Zubehör geschaut.Bei Lieferung sah der Schalter mit zwei Polen etwas anders aus. Der rausragende "Stift" war deutlich kürzer als auf dem Produktfoto. Auch eine Rezension aus Frankreich hatte diesen Zustand erwähnt und das Teil als nicht passend zurückgesendet.Habe dann unseren Sohn (Kfz-Mechatroniker) gefragt, ob es trotzdem passen könnte. Tatsächlich lasse sich dieser Stift weiter herausziehen, allerdings gewollt schwer, da er innen mit Widerhaken ausgestattet ist.Ich habs nicht geschafft, dafür der Sohn, der den Schalter eingebaut hat ^^ Beim Einbau wird der Stift dann automatisch auf die passende Länge gestaucht.Seit dem Austausch funktioniert das Bremslicht wieder einwandfrei.Meine Fotos zeigen das Produkt von allen Seiten, sowie den Zustand bei Lieferung, bezüglich des herausziehbaren Stiftes.FAZITAuch wenn Hella Produkte mittlerweile in China produziert werden, sind wir mit der Qualität zufrieden.

Un producto que me llego muy pronto. Marca Hella y muy buena calidad, para un golf 3 lo puse sin problema ninguno, se pone fácil, el montaje en poco más de 5 min tienes montado la pieza.El problema es cuando no se encienden las luces de freno, el interruptor este va en el pedal del freno, y a media rosca sale sin herramientas.Recomendable para ahorrarse dinero del taller.
