I "lost" my original hood when it sacrificed itself when I dropped camera/lens. If this replacement takes the hit like the original hood did - well worth it.Fit was perfect.

Arguably this part is insanely expensive for what it is. But it's a genuine replacement.My advice - don't lose the original like I did!

The little latch in the first hood broke quickly. Hope this one lasts longer. Over engineered (the locking mechanism) and overpriced.
