The mug is awesome but the funky smell is real. The gasket on the lid went bad almost instantly when I set it on top of my mug with coffee inside (didn’t even tighten it down). I read all the reviews and was up in the air before buying the Carter so I was aware of the issue. If you think yours will be an acceptation to the smell, it probably won’t.With that being said, I reached out to Fellow and within a few hours they had sent me a new gasket. I’ll update this review once I try the new one out.I would still recommend the Carter, especially if you have an Aeropress and want to brew directly into a mug. Just be aware that there is a high probability you’ll have to spend a few more bucks on a new gasket.

Nicely made, water tight seal, the ceramic coating for the no skank taste is essential and just a nicely thought out/ made travel mug

Buenos materiales. Buen tamaño para unas 3 a 4 tazas de cafe. Conserva el calor unas 4 horas.

I'm loving my new coffee travel mug! The colour is a beautiful feather grey, and just like it advertises, it keeps your drinks cool or warm just fine. I haven't experimented with how long it'll keep a hot drink steaming hot, but I certainly still see ice in there for my cold coffees.The only thing is you really have to make sure you screw the lid on properly. Mine had an issue that made it seem like it was sealed, but it still ended up spilling in my bag. Good thing Fellow is quick to respond and happy to help. They have sent out a replacement lid!
