Okay, so I’ve now ordered two sets of these drivers so far. For my own personal amusement I have been installing them in dirt cheap Califone classroom headphones I had laying around. I don’t know if it’s a combination of the size and shape of the ear cups on them, but with these drivers they sound absolutely phenomenal. Crystal clear, they sound as good or perhaps better than my actual Sony MDR-7506. The bass, mids, and treble is all perfect (to my ears, anyway) without doing any tuning. Best part, I can toss them in my bag or leave them at work without worrying about a $100 pair or cans getting broken/lost/stolen. Who would suspect such a cheap beige plastic set of headphones would sound so good?

I didn't have high expectations, but I'm gladly surprised with this pair of drivers for a Sony MDR-7506.First it came in a sweet little case, so they were well protected.Comparing to the Sony's (the one not busted) the impedance seems a bit lower. But both new ones are perfectly balanced so I replaced both.In sound quality, I can't say the real difference; my 7506 are almost 20 years old. But they seem flat like it should be. These headphones are excellent for field recording and studio mixing because they don't exaggerate any frequencies.Recommended product and seller!

I like the easy to put in my headphones and it fixed em. I thought I was upgrading the drivers by a lot, but honestly they sound a little better not so distant. Voices are much clearer but that’s about all I could tell. But they did what I needed them to do in the end so I’d recommend. I’m my situation they weren’t life changing better but did give em a little boost

Diameter was perfect, but the depth of the drivers is such that the ring clips won't seat. They're about 1/64th of an inch thicker than the originals. In the process of fighting to get it clipped in, one of the drivers died, so I only have the benefit of one new driver.
