The wire arrives in a small grip-seal bag and is wound neatly onto a plastic spool with the diameter and length printed onto it. The wire on the spool is covered with a wrapping of a cling-film like plastic that keeps it clean after the spools are wound in the factory and packed. The wire on this spool measures consistently at 0.64 mm, which is within expectations and I'm surprised that the diameter doesn't deviate at all on the first 30 cm or so I measured at a dozen or so different spots. The enamelled coating is good too, no signs of continuity on the wire until it's sanded or burned off with a lighter/soldering iron.If you need some enamelled copper wire for general craft projects, rewinding, repairing or making DIY motors or speakers, these spools from DONGKER are a good option.
