I bought two of this for my bikes. The chains are really strong but also too heavy for a bike.I was satisfied with the safety it provided for my bike but after less than a week of use, I started encountering problems with locks not opening. None of the keys worked and it happened on both locks so it’s something in the design. I added oil to lubricate the keyhole and could open up my bike once, but I could never open it again to lock the bike again (also don’t dare doing that because what if I can’t unlock it?)Anyway, if you want a strong chain buy this product, but you need to get a separate lock for it because the lock that comes with it is risky and useless.

Dopo 2 settimane la serratura del lucchetto si è rotta, e solo per fortuna sono riuscito ad aprirlo per liberare la catena

This appears to be a solid welded chain, and what looks to be a pretty substantial, high shouldered lock, which should also make cutting time consuming and difficult. Though without actually attacking it, there's no real way of knowing how strong the material is. I don't think anyone's getting through it without making a lot of noise or carrying massive bolt cutters, and I'm using it to secure an e-bike while I'm nearby.The lock has a disk detainer core, and these can be fiddly at times. If one of the discs rotates slightly, the key needs to be jiggled to get it all the way in. However it feels like it's all the way in when it isn't, leaving the confused owner thinking that they've used the wrong key. Though since this kind of lock is near impossible to pick without specialist tools, I think it can be forgiven for this flaw. You will always get the lock open with a bit of fiddling (and the right key, of course) but I wouldn't use it to secure something you might need to unlock very quickly.The description says it's supplied with 3 keys, but mine definitely only came with 2. No big deal, because all of my other security devices only have 2 keys as well, meaning I only have one spare bunch if the main ones go missing.

Anders als die vielen billigen Fake Schlösser hier, die dicke stabile Kettenglieder nur vortäuschen, ist das Schloss mal wirklich massiv!Da geht definitiv keiner mit dem Bolzenschneider ran. Sowohl die Kette als auch das Schloss selbst machen einen richtig stabilen Eindruck.Das hat natürlich auch Nachteile, zum Einen hat so ein Schloss seinen Preis, wobei das hier verglichen mit ähnlich massiven Ketten von bekannteren Marken noch recht günstig ist.Zum anderen ist es ein wenig umständlich in der Handhabung, da ist nichts mit mal eben absteigen, Klick, ab in den Bäcker. Da heißt es Schloss auf (Bügel kommt aus dem Schloss raus, das heißt das Schloss muss dann irgendwohin weil man beide Hände für die Kette braucht) rumschlingen ohne ein Ende loszulassen (Das den Rahmen trifft), Bügel ins Schloss, abschließen. Jetzt nicht super kompliziert, aber halt umständlicher als ein "normales" 20€ Schloss.Auch sollte man sich überlegen wo man das Schloss hinpackt während man fährt, was bei einem Rennrad schon eher Richtung Rucksack gehen wird, da beim Wickeln um die Sattelstange das schwere Schloss gegen dem Rahmen schlägt beim Fahren.Dafür bekommt man allerdings die Sicherheit, dass das Rad noch da ist wenn man zurück kommt. Da sägt man eher den Fahrradständer ab, als dieses Schloss.

La catena è veramente robusta e di conseguenza pesantissima, coperta da una protesione telata, anch'essa robusta.Una volta imparato che la catena va chiusa infilando uno dentro l’altro l’ultimo anello di entrambi i lati della catena, il fatto che la parte superiore del lucchetto venga via completamente, inizialmente trovata scomoda, ha la sua utilità, facilitando la chiusura.Dopo oramai due anni di intemperie la catena el il lucchetto continuano ad essere perfettamente funzionanti.
