I got this to travel to England to visit my daughter. She also recommends a document holder vs a passport book and I find this one to be perfect. The quality of the leather and the design is very gender-neutral and looks luxurious. If you are going to be traveling with a lot of boarding passes/ID's/Passport/Visa/Papers, This is a nice roomy holder for it all.

They've succeeded beautifully with the Dirk Document Bag. It is well made, using thick, high quality leather that will age nicely, and is lined with a thick canvas. It is a bit stiff, but I believe it will soften nicely with use and age - I've only had it a few days, and it is already beginning to soften. My only minor complaint is that while there is a gusset on one side of the pouch, it isn't gusseted on the other side or the bottom, and I wish it was. As with the leather, the zipper is high quality and smooth. And, there is a great wrist strap securely attached to the zipper, which would make this a fantastic oversized clutch for a night out.Something for American buyers to be aware of, this is more of a B5 document size, and the American standard 8.5x11 paper will not fit without being folded.I'm a big fan of slow fashion, especially when it comes to leather goods, so I'll be on the lookout for more from Berliner, and hope more companies will follow their example and begin producing higher quality goods like this again.
