Overall very good installation instructions. Included tools covered all needs and no additional tools were required. Battery pack fit well as designed!

I was able to install this battery in about 15 minutes using only the included tools. All you really need is the special screwdriver, and the connector to the motherboard is directly plug-and-play. No software resets or changes were needed for the machine to detect the new battery and the computer runs far longer than the original battery could manage. Cycle count was zero. I recommend also replacing the thermal paste while you have the system opened up, along with cleaning the dust in the fan.

I have gotten around to working on my 2018 MBP, replacing damaged parts of the logic board and doing a battery replacement in the process. This product is very nice and includes everything you could need for the swap, well organized in the protective foam. The included instructions were very helpful, with photos of each step and directions in Chinese, Japanese, and English. All the tools you need come with the kit, and the battery already has adhesive pre-installed. Worked right away when I swapped it into my laptop, and no issues with charging or holding a charge (at least for a week so far). Overall, very happy with this product!

I recently bought this replacement battery for my 2020 MacBook Pro, and it’s been fantastic so far! My original battery was struggling, so I decided to give this one a try, and I’m really pleased with the results.Installation was surprisingly easy. I’m not super tech-savvy, but the included instructions were clear, and the entire process was straightforward. The package even came with all the tools I needed, which saved me the hassle of finding them separately. The only thing I’d note is that the tools are definitely designed for one-time use – they feel a bit flimsy, but they worked fine for the job and got it done.Once installed, the battery charged up perfectly and has been running just like the original. I get solid battery life that easily powers me through the day, and I haven’t noticed any overheating or issues with it holding a charge. It’s great to have my laptop working at full power again, especially since I rely on it daily.It’s still too soon to comment on the long-term lifespan, but with the promised 1500+ recharge cycles, I feel optimistic. Overall, I’m really happy with this purchase. This battery is easy to install, and so far, has worked great. Five stars from me!

Although there are clear instructions with pictures in the box, if you haven't perform this kind of replacement before, you may want to look at a few YT videos to get familiar with the steps and techniques. The box contains 3 mini screwdrivers and other utilities to facilitate the battery replacement, but you won't need all of it. The MacBook detected the new battery automatically upon starting it the first time. So far so good, the battery has been performing as expected. Oh, and while you are under the hood, you might as well suck/blow the dust in and around the fan.
